This one probably won’t resonate with everyone, but it’s going to hit hard for some. This session on the Blackcomb glacier is well documented. The first cover I shot for Snowboarder Mag came out of it and the images were in all the cool films of the day.
This shot of Jamie has been a favourite of mine for a long time. It really represents the transition to skate style, a back lip in the pipe on a metal extension, and with that classic Lib Tech base and signature Jamie style.
As the old Stussy ad says: If I have to explain, you won’t understand”.
