Making still photos has never mattered more. The act of slowing down and taking photos is the antidote to a world that is both accelerated and anesthetized. We know. Photographers know that there is magic in stopping the world for a thousandth of a second to show everyone else what we see.
Time together is important. To spend time sharing knowledge, inspiring each other, and nerding out on all the crap that is only ever important to the ones who are all in.
This is for everyone who has ever watched the image slowly appear in the red light of the darkroom. Who has woken up in the middle of the night with an idea that needs to be sketched. Who has sat in the cold and the wet hoping to god that those pocket wizards work just one more time…
As photographers we’ve always lived at the crossroad of art and technology. New gear opens new doors and new solutions. But it’s the vision that keeps us going. To bring to reality something that only exists in your mind.
