Fans of Derek Heidt are familiar with his inimitable style, his tweaks, and his photos all over magazines in the 90s. There were snowboarders who got more famous, but none that worked harder than Derek. This combination of work ethic and hyper tweaked airs earned wigz a spot in my lineup of regulars. If we went out shooting we always came home with photos. Always.

I didn’t shoot the quarterpipe on Seymour many days, but they sure were productive. I think Dionne got a cover from this day, and Berta and Sansalone had shots run as well.
