Near the end of 2005 I found myself in Whistler after my first stretch living in California, launch Future Snowboard Magazine. I hadn’t shot with Devun all year, and in fact probably for a couple years at that point, but we connected for a day in the Whistler backcountry. This ended up being the last day we shot together, and we went out with a bang.
