In 1993 I travelled to Colorado for the first time. There had been a series of world championships at the Breckenridge halfpipe over the years and since all the best snowboarders were going to be there, so was I. Pipes were just starting to get good and consistent, and riders were taking advantage. Here’s Noah Salasnek with his signature style, making a simple frontside air into art.
