I’ve always loved this shot of Wes Makepeace. It’s a genuine captured moment and it feels just like heliboarding does to me; going fast with your friends, racing to a helicopter that is just waiting to take you back to the top. This was right near the end of the time of cheap and plentiful heli shooting in Whistler and the onset of the snowmobile revolution.
